Twilight Sparkle is a main character in the T.V show My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic. She loves reading, learning, helping other ponies, and, of course, being Princess Celestia's student. Her best friends are Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. She also has an assistant named Spike. Spike is a dragon and him and Twilight are really great friends. She also has a pet owl named Owlicious.

Twilight is a alicorn that has dark purple eyes, a dark blue mane with pink and purple streaks, and a light purple coat. Her cutie mark is five small white sparkles surrounding a bigger pink star.
Princess-hood[]
Because she was Celestia's best and most prized student, she became a princess herself at the end of Season Three. She saves her best friends in a way that no one could ever do, so Princess Celestia brings Twilight to her and gives her wings. After Twilight has turned into a princess, Celestia then explains that she has done so much since she came to Ponyville and she displays many characteristics of a princess. She does struggle sometimes with the wings and the fact that she now has a lot of responsibilities, but she handles it all very well.
